I am so, SO grateful to all of you who celebrated the release of my 4th album project, "Grown-Up Kid," with us at Compass Bible Church on Monday night!

We celebrated with friends from far away (Hesperia, CA!) and nearby (our "church friends" from Compass Bible Church). Many of you guys bought CDs and I hope you're enjoying them!

My mom and dad love the new songs, but they kinda have to (ha ha).

What about you? I sure hope you're enjoying them. Are you? Do you have a favorite new song? Can you tell "what I was going for" with certain songs, styles, and sounds? Will you use the songs in your Kids' Church programs? Do you think people will like the new album?

Obviously, I'm very excited to see what God will do with these new recordings. And thank you again - SO MUCH! - for your support. Thanks again to Compass Bible Church and to my hard-working assistant at CBC, Beth Paulson. BP: you and your team had the auditorium looking AMAZING!

Last night I had the wonderful experience of a "Family Concert on the Lawn" at Chino Valley Community Church in Chino Hills, CA.

The crowd was HUGE and it was a night of "firsts":
- I autographed a sock for the first time.
- I autographed two pair of scissors (first time autographing scissors).
- I spoke Spanish to a young bilingual girl, then asked her, "How's my Spanish?"  She said, "eh..." while holding up her opened hand and twisting it.  Ha!

Kids of every age joined my wife and daughters and me onstage, taking turns singing and doing the motions.

We had just finished up an awesome week of "Camp Compass" at Compass Bible Church (our home church), and now the Summer Music Tour rolls on, to the Palm Springs area tomorrow.

We hope your summer of ministry is going well - for God's glory!

We've been in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area doing concerts this week. I got to hear Chuck Smith [founding Pastor of Calvary Chapel] preach a brief sermon on Psalm 73 this morning.  Legendary man.

We did a show in New Jersey tonight at Calvary Chapel Vineland, NJ.  Great people.  I'd never been to New Jersey before.
